Q: Is it a sin to masturbate?
A: The answer is YES and NO.
YES, MASTURBATION is a SIN
Yes because its a lust of the flesh. (Ephesians 5:3) You cannot masturbate without thinking of someone is beautiful, macho or someone who is very attractive to you.
If you are married and masturbating while thinking of your attractive friend, or celebrity. You are now committing fornication from your heart.
If you are not married and masturbating while thinking of your boyfriends or girlfriends, you are sinning and commiting fornication in your heart. Thats why (1 Corinthians 7:36) says, get married to avoid sinning.
The bible says: If you look someone with a lusty desire, you are sinning fornication with your heart, what more if you think of it and doing a handjob. (Matthew 5:28).
NO, MASTURBATION is not a sin
Masturbation is not a sin If you are doing it while thinking of your legal WIFE / HUSBAND. In respect with (Matthew 5:28), you are not sinning against your heart because the guy or woman you are thinking of is your legal WIFE / HUSBAND.
